Ceremony Attire

Professional attire is required for Commencement. We recommend dark slacks and dark shoes for males and dark, comfortable heels for women. Please consider the length and color of your gown when selecting your attire, and keep in mind that you will be walking onto, across, and down a platform for your hooding and degree presentation.

Additionally, take the time to remove the wrinkles from your gown. Jostens recommends removing your gown from the packaging and hanging it up as soon as you receive it. You may also press it with a cool/low iron or hang it in a steamy room to gently remove wrinkles. Do not use a hot iron or put it in the dryer.
