Professor Cormier has a passion for teaching and working with students, which has come from teaching a number of courses in constitutional law, civil procedure, and employment and labor law over the last several years. His research and writing primarily focuses upon free speech and civil rights issues.

Professor Cormier has over a decade of experience as a civil litigator in the areas of employment law, civil rights, and commercial disputes, where he was recognized several times as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" and Best Lawyers "Ones to Watch." In his free time, Professor Cormier is a budding novelist (or at least trying to be), music junkie, and overall outdoors/hiking fanatic trying to make his way across all of the incredible landscapes that Arizona has to offer.
